Technology

UV-C (Ultraviolet-C) technology utilizes ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 254 nanometers to inactivate microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and protozoa.

This process occurs when the UV-C light penetrates the cell membrane of the microorganism, causing damage to its DNA, and thereby preventing reproduction and rendering the microorganism inactive.

Why UV-C Technology in Water Purification

Highly effective

Highly effective achieving the log reduction in microbial load

Chemical free

Offers a chemical free option, leaving water in its natural state.

Minimal impact

It has a very high and minimal impact on the environment.

How Water Purification Happens

STAGE 1

Raw water from the source goes through the first filter for removal of particulate matter greater than 5 microns.

STAGE 2

The water goes through a second filter for removal of any chemicals or bad odor

STAGE 3

The final stage is UV-C sterilization or disinfection that ensures disease causing micro-organisms are eliminated to make water safe for drinking.

NOTE:

That the purification system is modular and the design may depend on source water quality and needs. We cannot guarantee that the system will be the same as visualized or explained.
